| Established in 1888, Glenwood Hot Springs resort is next to the Colorado River between Vail and Aspen. It is the largest thermal mineral pool in the world, measuring over two blocks long. The heated waters are 90°-93°F (32°-34°C) in the large pool and 104°F (40°C) in the smaller, therapy pool. New in 2008, the Spa of the Rockies features eight facial/massage rooms including two couples suites, five hydrotherapy tubs, and one Vichy shower hydrotherapy room. Manicure and pedicure services are also offered. The focus is on wellness and natural health practices, which has a deep-rooted history at this facility. The resort also includes the 107-room Glenwood Hot Springs Lodge, Glenwood Hot Springs Athletic Club, Glenwood Hot Springs Sport Shop, Glenwood Hot Springs Grill, and a challenging miniature golf course.
